This was the second draft of the magazine although the colours had been changed they still do not match the genre of magazine which I am aiming for and also the name 'Love Soap' does not reflect a formal weekly TV magazine it reflects a 'trashy' magazine which is not the genre I was aiming for and therefore the name will be changed as well as the colours to create the conventions of the type of magazine i am aiming for.

Final Magazine Front Cover
This was the second draft of the magazine although the colours had been changed they still do not match the genre of magazine which I am aiming for and also the name 'Love Soap' does not reflect a formal weekly TV magazine it reflects a 'trashy' magazine which is not the genre I was aiming for and therefore the name will be changed as well as the colours to create the conventions of the type of magazine i am aiming for.
Second Draft of Billboard
This was the second draft for the billboard, the addition of more characters allows for the narrative to be spread across more people however the narrative of the billboard still reflects that everyone is in it together and that the character at the front, Rav, is leading the rest of the characters which isn't the story which I wanted to put across.

Song Choice for Trailer
I chose this song for the soap trailer as the song reflects the addiction which many people face throughout their life which reflects with the drug addiction which Mason has in the trailer for the soap. the song also has fast paced rhythm although starting slowly the music builds in pace therefore reflecting the trailers pace that it builds and builds until the editing becomes quick cuts therefore making the audience feel in suspense with the pace of the music and editing.
BAMFORD Script

The first script for the soap opera trailer was devised by the whole group putting their own input in to make the trailer. This script holds many everyday problems which are portrayed in soaps. From the script issues such as pregnancy, violence and an enemy returning to the soap.

Draft For Magazine Ancillary
This piece was the first finished draft for the front cover for the soap, although this front cover still complies to the conventions of magazine front covers, the colours make the magazine look more of a 'trashy' magazine even though the type of magazine which I was aiming for was more of a formal magazine. Therefore the text on the magazine does not match the colour therefore going against the conventions of magazines by merging two styles together. Although this is sometimes seen as a good thing to do because it pushes the boundaries, when it comes to a magazine front cover the aim is to sell the magazine and not to push the boundaries.
First Draft Billboard
This image was the first draft of the billboard for the soap. This billboard worked as it created the narrative that the three characters on the billboard were central to the storyline. However in the soap these three characters are not friends and in the billboard it comes across to the audience that the characters on the billboard are friends and are all in on something together. As this was not the narrative which I wanted to portray through the billboard i had to change the ancilliary to make it clear to audience what is happening.
Magazine Planning Ancilliary
This was the initial outline for the front cover for the soap magazine. I found that this was not a good outline for the magazine as the boxes used for the outline of where the pictures and text will go did not fit the conventions of a regular magazine front cover and the stars eyeline were not in the top third of the magazine and also all the text was centered therefore making the magazine not spread out and therefore difficult to read.
