Draft For Magazine Ancillary

This piece was the first finished draft for the front cover for the soap, although this front cover still complies to the conventions of magazine front covers, the colours make the magazine look more of a 'trashy' magazine even though the type of magazine which I was aiming for was more of a formal magazine. Therefore the text on the magazine does not match the colour therefore going against the conventions of magazines by merging two styles together. Although this is sometimes seen as a good thing to do because it pushes the boundaries, when it comes to a magazine front cover the aim is to sell the magazine and not to push the boundaries.
